Software To Promote and Create Web Content

I have a desire to create an e-business like Yahoo!, Google, Amazon.com and Ebay, I cannot affort an genuine software like Dreamweaver and Microsoft Front Page because it is too expensive. So, I'm here to ask favour from internet user who read my Yahoo! Answer to have some opinion to solve my matter. Which free software is the most suitable, useful and easy for me to accoplish my desire?

Do not use Frontpage, it is not very good and MS is dropping it from the latest versions of Office. Dreamweaver is excellent, but expensive. NVU is the OpenSource community's response to Dreamweaver. It is almost the same and works well. NVU is free from http://www.nvu.com/ ---
