Nvu is a free web page editor similar to Adobe Dreamweaver. http://www.nvu.com LearnHawk http://www.learnhawk.com
You have to Keep Looking !
learn html (and css!), use notepad ++ to code your site use 789.mb as a free host (no ads, very reliable) if you want to make a professional website you will need to learn how to code. you could use dreamweaver as a wysiwyg program, but even then you will need to learn the basics of html (and css)
Learning html and css is the best this is a good place to start http://www.mcli.dist.maricopa.edu/tut/ a good book on css is at http://www.cookwood.com/html/ I haven't found a good course on css
It's easy... - Sign up for a free Webstarts account here: http://www.webstarts.com - Quickly create a page that better describes your website. The web editor is super easy to use. - Add slide shows and photo's using photobucket or just upload your photo's right to your website - Preview the finished page and send the link to your friends and family It takes only a few minutes to do but can mean the difference. If you are currently a paid Internet subscriber, you are entitled to a "homepage" which often contains simple navigation and editing tools. And if you use the Netscape browser, the built-in Composer feature is a superior HTML authoring tool. You can easily generate a full-blown website as a Homepage. Nevertheless, the "homepage" URL is likely to be "http://homepage.earthlink.com/subscriber... name" and that URL can easily be overwritten via a redirection service, i.e., "mydomain.com" which allows you to link any registered domain name to "mask" another website. For example, should you type in "domainname.com", you will be immediately transported to the homepage and the hompage URL of http://homepage.earthlink.com/subscriber... name will be masked by the domainname.com. And the charge for the redirection service [even at godaddy.com] is normally FREE. Here's a demonstration: Type in the URL window: "www.pizzanextdoor.com" which will bring up their pizza website. Take note of the domain name. Then type in the URL window: "http://home.pacbell.net/vten/1a/pizzamen... and you will see that this is the original homepage which is unmasked without the domain name! Good luck!
I suggest Nvu. You can download it for FREE here (It is not a trial): http://www.download.com/Nvu/3000-2048_4-10412422.html.
